The Pattern Is n + 2 ( n + 1 ) 2 \large \frac{n+2}{(n+1)^2} Putting n = 5 \large{n=5} \ which implies that 5 + 2 ( 5 + 1 ) 2 \large \frac{5+2}{(5+1)^2} which implies that 7 36 \large \frac{7}{36} So ans is 7 16 \boxed{\frac{7}{16}}

The series was 1/2 then 3/4 then 5/8 then 7/16.As you are noticing in numerator we are adding 2 means +2 and in denominator we are mulitplying the number with 2 means x2.So next number after 7/16 would be 9/32.

+2/*2 = 9/32
