let Shadow length = A then,

6/A=20/(A+S)

so... A=3/7*S

consider x is length of shadow S+x is total length of shadow end to the buiding 6x(S+x)=20x

Let us consider the shadow length = x

The 6 feet person is standing S feet away from the building.

20/(S+x) = 6/x

By solving the above equation you get x = 3S/7

Or let the angle between the light ans the building is Theta, and the length of shadow is x, then

tan θ \tan\theta = X + S 20 \frac{X+S}{20} = S 14 \frac{S}{14}

Then 14(X+S) = 20S

X = 3 7 \frac{3}{7} S
