n(n-1)/2 = 6(5)/2 = 15

15 handshhakes. The first person would have shaken hands 5 times. The second, 4 times and so on. Thus, 5+4+3+2+1=15

just use the formula n(n-1)/2 n=6 6(5)/2 =15

(6*5)/2=15
