From the second scale, we can see that 1 triangle weighs the same as 2 squares:

If we replace the triangle on the right of the first scale with 2 squares, we see that 1 square weighs the same as 3 circles:

Thus, 1 triangle and 1 square weighs the same as 3 squares, which weighs the same as 9 circles. So, 1 triangle, 1 square, and 1 circle weighs the same as 10 circles.

Triangle=T, Circle=C, Square=S. Now 2T= T+ 2S; Therefore, T= 2S ......(1); and T = 3C + S......(2) From(1) & (2) 2S = 3C + S ie S=3C, So, S+C+T = S + C + 2S = 3C + C + 2x3C = 3C + C + 6C = 10C, Then 10 CIRCLES are needed

2nd ⚖,▲▲ = ■▲■ ➩▲ = ■■

3rd ⚖, ■●●● =▲ ➩ ■●●● = ■■ ➩ ●●● = ■

2nd ⚖, ▲ = ■■ ➩▲ = ●●●●●●

So ■ = ●●● and ➩▲ = ●●●●●●

1st ⚖, ■●▲ = ●●●●●●●●●● (or 10x●)

3 C + S = T , 2 T = 2 S + T T = 2 S 3 C + S = 2 S 3 C = S 6 + 1 + 3 = 10 \begin{aligned} 3C + S &= T,\quad2T = 2S + T \\ T &= 2S \\ 3C + S &= 2S \\ 3C &= S \\ 6 + 1 + 3 &= \boxed{10} \end{aligned}

Therefore, the answer is 10 .

From the second scale we get that a △ weighs as ⃤⃤ and when you know that from the first scale you get that a ⃤ weighs as ● ● ●. So you have a △ ⃤ ● if you turn the triangle into squares you get ⃤⃤⃤ ● and you turn the squares into circles you get ●●● ●●● ●●● ● which is the answer - 10 circles.

1 triangle = x

1 triangle = 2 square => 1 square = 1/2 triangle

1 triangle = 1 square + 3 circle => x = x/2 square + Unknown --------(i)

Obviously it should be x/2 ,

Hence: Results::

1 triangle = 6 circles < From (i) both circles and square = x/2 ,

                                   < Since sum of them = 1 triangle

1 square = 3 circles

and hence 1 circle left

Add all : 6 + 3 + 1 = 10

Lets suppose Square=s , Triangle=t and Circle= c then...... From figure top left.... t=3c+s..(1)... And from the figure top right ... 2s+t=2t.... Now solve it for t and put it in (1) gets t=6c .... Now again solve 2nd equation for s and put in (1) gets s=3c .... Now in bottom fig we have to find ... t+c+s= ?c .... Put the values of t and s which would be 6c+c+3c= 10c
