Shell, who is at a higher potential?

Two concentric spherical shells, 1 and 2 of radii R R and r r ( R < r ) R<r) are charged with positive charges Q Q and q q respectively. If Q > q Q>q , which sphere is at a higher electrostatic potential?

2 1 Both are at the same potential.

With this equation we will know the answer

E Q R \huge E≈ \frac{Q}{R}

Higher amount of Q Q will raise the electrostatic potential E E and vice versa

Longer radii of Spherical Ball R R will decrease the electrostatic potential E E and vice versa

Hence, the higher electrostatic potential is Spherical Shell number 1 \boxed{1}
