Let cost of shirt be Rs. 100, then after selling he get 100 + 12.5 = Rs. 112.5
CP of pant = Rs. 112.5 SP of pant = 112.5 × 120/100 = 135
He get total profit = 135 – 100 = Rs. 35
so when he get total profit as Rs 35 cost of shirt was Rs. 100
then when he get total profit as Rs 700 cost of shirt was Rs. 700 × 100/35 = 2000
