A mass attached to a spring is stretched to a distance of 10 m from it's mean position, and released. What is it's velocity when it returns to it's mean position?


k = 2 N m 1 k = 2 Nm^{-1}

Mass of block = 2 k g \text {Mass of block} = 2 kg

Answer in m s 1 ms^ {-1}

1 2 \frac{1}{2} * k * x^2 = 1 2 \frac{1}{2} * m * v^2

Ans = 10 m/s
