Level pending

On sunday night, Evan goes stargazing. Unlike Friday, the conditions are better and now there is an 80% chance to see a star at any given hour. What is the probability that Evan will see a Shooting star in the first 15 minutes? (solve the shooting star warm up problem first before this one)

67% about 10.33% 23.34% 43% 20% about 33.1%

P(shooting stars 🌠 in the first 15 minutes)
= 1 – (1 – 0.8)^(15/60)
= 1 – 0.2^0.25
= 1 – √√0.2
= 1 – 0.66874
= 33.126%
