First of all initial velocity is 0m/s and final velocity is 10m/s and the distance is 10m. So, using v^2-u^2 = 2as,

100=20 x a.

Hence, a = 5m/s^2.

Then, force = ma = 0.5 x 5 = 2.5N.

To find time let us use the equation, v=u+at.

Then, 10 = 0+5t. then , t = 2 seconds.

Can be solved by kinematic equations.You should have posted it in classical mechanics section.
