Since the two triangles are similar, we can use ratio and proportion. Let x x be the length of the longest side, we have

x 11.5 = 63 6.9 \dfrac{x}{11.5}=\dfrac{63}{6.9}

cross-multiplying, we get

6.9 x = 724.5 6.9x=724.5

dividing both sides by 6.9 6.9 , we obtain

x = 105 x=105
