See the spout opening of big teapot. Amount of tea could be hold till the opening of spout only. Because any extra tea would spill out from the spout.

Spout opening of big teapot is at half level of small teapot. Hence it should hold maximum 250 milliliter of tea in it.

Argh! I got tricked by that ...

You can just tilt the large teapot to hold a lot more water.

While the spout of the small one is higher up, the spout of the tall one is lower, allowing less water in. However, if one were to turn the big one on it's side to allow more water in...
