I have a brick which is 2 pounds + 1/2 of the brick heavy. What could be weight of 3 bricks..??

If each brick weighs 2 and half of it's weight, then 2 is half of it, meaning each brick weighs 4 lbs. 4*3= 12, giving us the answer. Though awkwardly worded, this problem is easy and not incorrect.

It is a tricky question and one needs to interpret the same carefully.

Just put an equation for ease.

x = 2 + 1/2 x

So x will be 4 and we have 3x so answer will be 12.

How is this possible?The answer should be 7.5 pounds.
