Some ice melts to dissolve the common salt.further,ice and salt form a freezing mixture which has a temperature much less than 0 c.

Ice at 0 celsius will not melt to dissolve the NaCl . Nothing at all will happen, volume will remain unchanged, as it is an isothermal condition.
