1681*1 = 1681
1681+1 = 1682 - None of these

Prove that this is the maxima

Thats very easy.

Solution :

We can see on the graph that the maxima will exists only for x \in +Z

Now for integers we see that x = 1 gives y = 1681.Given function is exponential hence by differentiating we get \rightarrow Change not linear.

Hence x = 1 is maxima for x \in Z
