You can use the digits 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 9 exactly once. Filling the boxes below with those digits, what is the largest possible value of the expression?

100(9+8-1)+10(7+6-2)+1(5+4-3)=1600+110+6=1716
