Level 1

There is a ship that has a ladder on one side the side where the lower tip of ladder is just touching the sea water. The length of the ladder is n meters . A sailor recalls that one day when he was climbing the ladder he used to climb 2 meters in one minute then slip 1 meter in another one minute. It took him 9 minutes to climb the ladder. The tide was rising 3 meters every two minutes. Can you figure out when would water reach the top of ladder.

This is a troll problem.

The answer is none of above because if the tide is rising it is raising the ship too. Sometimes you have to think beyond maths.

Yup! I thought beyond maths and got it right! :3 :3
