The general term is given by-

$a_n = \frac{1}{2}(n^2+19n-16)$ .

So, plugging $n=4$ gives us $\boxed{52}$ .

For a minute, I thought it was some sort of a Fibonacci sequence till I realised the pattern in differences.

AS given , 2,13,25,38,.... Lets take 2 and 13 first.... 13 is 2+11.. 25 is 13+12.. And goes on. .. So, 38+14 = 52
