Simulating a dice using Random Numbers

Probability Level pending

I want to Simulate the throwing of dice numbered from 1 to 6 on the six faces. I use random numbers , and so generate many random numbers between 0 and 1. I assign the event of the occurrence of the number 1 on the dice to the occurrence of a randomly generated number within a certain interval between 0 and 1. Similarly I assign the event of the occurrence of other numbers on the dice to the occurrence of a randomly generated number within a certain interval. What is the width of this interval and how many intervals all between 0 and 1 are needed.
