There are two main clues that are vital in solving this question. The first hint is that the answer given should be a positive even number, and the second hint is that it should be the 8th term as clearly stated in the question.

Let's solve the first part of the question based on the first hint: Even numbers are numbers that can only be divided by 2, without leaving any remainder. So, by knowing that 2 is the smallest even number, we can list out several multiples of 2.

Multiples of 2: 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20........

Now let's move on to the second part of the riddles in this question. We are required to find out what is the 8th term for the smallest positive even numbers that we had listed down. The key to this riddle is the word 'smallest'. So, we have to start from the smallest multiples of 2, starting by number 2.

So, List of even numbers: 2(1st),4(2nd),6(3rd),8(4th),10(5th),12(6th),14(7th), 16(8th) ....... Hence, the answer is 16.

As you all probably know, all even numbers are divisible by 2(the smallest even number.) Saying that, to figure out the 8th smallest positive even number, all you need to do is count up by 2 eight times(2 times 8.) Your final result should be 16.

I don't think so, as even numbers are numbers that can only be divided by 2/or any other even numbers, without leaving any remainder behind.
