Mass of Water = x g
⇒ Mass of sucrose = ( 1 0 0 − x ) g
As the solution is saturated,
Mass of sucrose = Solubility in x g of water
Therefore,
1 0 0 − x = 1 0 0 2 0 3 x
⇒ x = 3 3 g
Hence,
Mass of Sucrose required = 1 0 0 − 3 3 = 6 7 g
Mass of Water required = 3 3 g
