we see that x=1 is a solution of equation x^2001+2x-3=0 and for x>1 we have x^2001+2x-3>1+2-3=0 and for x<1 we have x^2001+2x-3<1+2-3=0
So , solution is x>1 Other solution is studing function ,where f(x) is increasing
