a pond grew double in size each day. if in the 20th day the pond was of its maximum size , at what day it would be half?

if in the 20th day it would be full obviously in the 19th day it would be half

a pond grew double in size each day. so, if it is 1 2 \frac {1}{2} today it will be full tomorrow.

as, in the 20th day the pond was of its maximum size, it was 1 2 \frac {1}{2} the day before or yesterday ,i mean in the =(20-1) =19th day

Everyday it grew double So after every 1 day it grows double

So the previous day Half of this day

Then it's obvious That 19th day it would be half of the 20th
