2x + 20 - 10 + 5x + 3 = 0 7x + 13 = 0 7x + 13 - 13 = 0 - 13 (to isolate the 13, subtract 13 from both sides) 7x = -13 7x/7 = -13/7

The given equation is : 2 ( x + 10 ) 5 ( 2 x ) + 3 = 0 2(x+10)-5(2-x)+3=0 . So----->

2 ( x + 10 ) 5 ( 2 x ) + 3 = 0 2(x+10)-5(2-x)+3=0

2 x + 20 10 + 5 x + 3 = 0 \implies 2x+20-10+5x+3=0

7 x = ( 13 ) x = ( 13 7 ) \implies 7x=(-13) \implies x=\boxed{(\frac{-13}{7})}
