Speed Limit
Joe is driving down a perfectly straight freeway that has a speed limit of 100 km/h. At some point in time, a speed radar on the side of the freeway captures Joe's speed as 80 km/h. Three minutes later, another speed radar 5 kilometers down the freeway from the first radar captures Joe's speed as 80 km/h again. Can we say for certain that Joe reached the speed limit at some point within these 3 minutes i.e. his speed was at least 100 km/h?
