John drives along a motorway at a constant speed for 120 kilometres.

The next day he completes the journey travelling at 10 km/h faster. He completes this journey at a speed which is 10 minutes less than the first journey. At what speed did John complete the first journey?

Note: The answer will be accepted in the units of km/h

Speed=Distance/Time \text{Speed=Distance/Time}

120 x 120 x + 10 = 1 6 \dfrac{120}x-\dfrac{120}{x+10}=\dfrac16 (Since 10 minutes is 1 6 \frac16 hours)

Solving and get x = 80 x=80 (or 90 -90 which is not possible)
