Spooky House
You walk up to a haunted house and decide if to enter it. As you walk up the front steps, you see that 8 of them are broken, 5 of them have cobwebs and 9 of them are perfectly fine. How many steps are there to walk up and into the house? Bonus Question: ( You don't have to answer it here. You can solve then type it down in the comments.) Inside the haunted house, there are creepy figures. 6 of them are shaped like ghosts, 2 of them are shaped like cats, and 7 of them are mysterious. If you come back the next day and see that the 7 mysterious figures have been removed, how many figures are left?

The correct answer to this question is 22. 8+9+5=22. You can solve this by first adding 8+9. 8+9=17. Then add that with 5. 17+5=22. That is the answer! Be sure to check out the bonus question connected to the regular one and good luck studying!
