f ( 16 ) = f ( 4 2 ) ⇒ x = 4 ∴ f(16)=f(4^2) \Rightarrow x=4 \therefore f ( 16 ) = 4 = 2 f(16)=\sqrt{4}=\boxed{2}

f ( x 2 ) = x f(x^2)= \sqrt {x}

f ( 4 2 ) = 4 f(4^2)= \sqrt {4}

∴ f ( 16 ) = 2 \therefore f(16)=2
