There are 100 squares in a bag. The ratio of blue to red is 10:1. The ratio of red to white is 9:1. How many of each square colour are there? Give your answer as the concatenation of the three numbers, in order: blue, red, white.

B : R = 10 : 1 = 90 : 9 B:R=10:1=90:9 , R : W = 9 : 1 R:W=9:1 , so B : R : W : ( B + R + W ) = 90 : 9 : 1 : 100 B:R:W:(B+R+W)=90:9:1:100 .

Hence, there are 90 blue squares, 9 red squares, 1 white square.
