There are 100 squares in a bag. The ratio of blue to red is 10:1. The ratio of red to white is 9:1. How many of each square colour are there? Give your answer as the concatenation of the three numbers, in order: blue, red, white.

B : R = 1 0 : 1 = 9 0 : 9 , R : W = 9 : 1 , so B : R : W : ( B + R + W ) = 9 0 : 9 : 1 : 1 0 0 .
Hence, there are 90 blue squares, 9 red squares, 1 white square.
