Our Sun Is a G2 type main sequence star meaning that it yellowish white star in the middle of fusing it's hydrogen to make energy. As It runs out of hydrogen in a few billion years it will expand and swell to several times the size of itself. What does the Sun become as it swells to several times the size of itself?

As the Sun expands it becomes much more luminous but it also cools of first becoming orange and then eventually into a Red giant star
