Static Progressive Blast

In a list of 7 integers, one integer denoted as x( a positive integer) is unknown. The other six are 20, 4, 10, 4, 8, and 4. If the mean median and mode of these seven integers are arranged in increasing order, they form an arithmetic progression. The sum of all possible values of x is-

sum of 6 integers is 50 so x should be 6,13,20 and so on.mode is always equal to 4....by x=6 we will get an AP .for x>6 mode =4,median=8 so mean must be 12 where x=34 so total sum 34+6=40

How can x=6? It's the mean that has to equal 6 to form an AP with 4 first and 8 third, and that would force x to equal -8. I don't understand how you can say any value of x other than 34 is possible with the given conditions.
