Stolen Necklace

Logic Level 2

A young woman went to the police saying that someone had broken into her house out on a farm and stolen her most prized jewelry, and they left nothing but mud on the floor and didn't give anything. When they investigated her house they found the floor covered in muddy footprints and a broken window. The lady was later arrested for fraud, why?

The window was broken from the inside Nobody lived nearby to steal it Nothing was stolen The muddy footprints were the same as her boots

There was no glass on the floor, therefore it was broken from the inside.

If you are confused, recognize that to break the window you apply force in a certain direction, sending the glass that was broken in the direction it was hit, in this case outside.
