The value of the expression is 2 2 + 2 2 i \frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}+\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}i . This number is called a complex number. Note that imaginary numbers, by definition, cannot have a real part, so it is incorrect.

Isn't being purely imaginary means that?

There will be two solutions (1/((2)^1/2))+i(1/((2)^1/2)) and
-(1/2^1/2 )-i(1/2^1/2)
