Subway Surfers

From the highly popular Subway Surfers game we have a question . Actually it is basically for those who have played it once, if not no problem. Actually y in this a boy runs from a subway manager and runs over train , stations and everything else and they call this surfing. Once the boy was surfing the train , the boy covered a distance if 14 m in 2 sec, while the train he was surfing reached the place from where he started ( 14 m ) in just 2.5 sec . Who is traveling faster, the train or the Boy?

Assume that train and boy are facing a opposite wind of 2.5m/s and 3m/s, although this is not possible but assume !

Both are equal Not enough information The boy The train

Simple physics - I said that the boy was moving on train means surfing. If the speed of boy was less than the train he would never move forward but backward if the speed was equal he would not move but because he covered a distance so thus his speed must be greater than the train he is running on.

What if the train is moving in direction opposite to the boy?

Actually I am talking about that case only. Suppose you go to a airport or a mall then there you see a moving stair - escalator. Then you you decide to climb opposite to the direction of it. For example if it is moving down you go up. In that case clearly if you move with same speed of it then you would not move from your position. But if you are moving slowler than the escalator then instead of moving forward you will move back. You can only move forward if you travel faster than the . This simple idea can be explained complicated also , but the simpler form is better. Since in the Subway Surfers the boy moves forward of train as mentioned he must move faster.
