With a, you pay 40 % 40\% %

With b, you pay

0.7 × 0.7 = 49 % 0.7 \times 0.7 = 49\% %

With c, you pay

0.55 × 0.55 = 30.25 % 0.55 \times 0.55 = 30.25\% %

With d, you pay

0.65 × 0.75 = 48.75 % 0.65 \times 0.75 = 48.75\% %

Therefore c is the best.
