The amount of handbag is 800 dollars while the tax Calvin has to pay is 4.5%. To get the amount of tax to be paid by Calvin, (800 x 0.045 = 36). Adding the tax with the initial prize of the bag, (800+36 = 836 dollars)

Calvin paid a 4.5% tax on the total cost of the bag. 100% + 4.5% = 104.5%

104.5% = 1.045

800 * 1.045 = 836

Calvin paid $836 for the bag.

$4.5 for $100 then for $800 it has to give tax $36. So total cost is $(800+36) = $836

Total cost of the bag=bag's cost=tax on it Cost of the bag=800$ Tax on it=4.5% of 800$ [To remove the Decimal we will multiply 10*100> 45/100multiply10multiply800 45/1000multiply800 =0.045multiply800=36 Therefore,The tax=36 Since, cost of bag=cost of bag+tax on it =800+36 =836 =The total cost of the bag is 360 RS.

800 + 4,5% of 800; 4,5% = 0,045; 800 + 800 x 0,045 = 800 +36 = $836

{800 x 4.5}/100 = 36 so the answer is [800 + 36 = 836]

cost of the bag = $800. included tax = 4.5%, total cost of the bag = (4.5/100 * 800) + 800 = 36 + 800 = $836

Bag Price = $800 Tax = 4.5% - 800 * (4.5/100) = $36 Total = 800+36 = $836
