Since we have to fit the most number of songs, we have the algebraic statement below.

k × 8 = 512 k \times 8 = 512

Since we have to find k k , the number of songs, we divide both sides of the equation by 8.

k = 512 ÷ 8 = 64 k = 512 \div 8 = 64

And the answer is 64. 64.

512 8 = 64 \frac{512}{8}= 64

The maximum number of songs that can be stored is 512/8 = 64
