2 n = 64 2^n = 64

2 n = 2 6 2^n = 2^6

n = 6 n=6

6 C 1 × 2 6 1 k = 576 6C1 \times 2^{6-1} k= 576

6 × 2 5 k = 576 6 \times 2^5 k=576

192 k = 576 192k = 576

k = 576 192 = 3 k=\frac{576}{192} = 3

n + k = 6 + 3 = 9 n+k = 6+3 = \boxed{9}
