Let the cost of lemonade be x x

Then, x + x + 3 = 4.5 x + x + 3 = 4.5

2 x + 3 = 4.5 \implies 2x + 3 = 4.5

2 x = 1.5 2x = 1.5

x = 0.75 x = 0.75

Two steps to solve it.

First you subtract 3 from the hole price and get two lemonades without the bottle.

4,50 - 3 = 1,5

Then you divide 1,5 by 2 and get the answer - 0,75.
