Sun-Tsu Posed the Problem

In the first century, the Chinese mathematician Sun-Tsu asked:

I have a positive integer that satisfies the following criteria:
- When divided by 3, it gives a remainder of 2.
- When divided by 5, it gives a remainder of 3.
- When divided by 7, it gives a remainder of 2.

What is the smallest positive integer that satisfies these criteria?

The answer is 23.

23 .because if we assume that the no. Is two digit den cz it leaves remaindr 3 wid 5 therefore the digit at the units plave will be 3 or 8 bt since 3 is small if first cnsidr its case.So the one in d tens place shud leave a remaindr 2 so dat our two digit no. Leaves the remainder 2 wen divided by 3.Andd fr division by 7 it follows .
