√27 = 3√3, and we write the square root of three as √3 only. By laws of surds,

3√3 x √3 = 3 * 3 = 9

Note: √x * √x = x.

27 \sqrt{27} × 3 \times \sqrt{3} = 81 \sqrt{81} = 9 \boxed{9}

sqrt(27) x sqrt(3) = x

27 x 3 = x^2

81 = x^2

x = 9
