Surface area vs volume... COINCIDENCE?

Calculus Level 2

The formula for the volume of a sphere is V = (4/3)πr^3. And the surface area is S = 4πr^2. What is the relationship between the two (if there is any)?

BONUS : If it is not a coincidence, why is this?

Volume is surface area squared Surface area is the derivative of volume Surface area = volume/r No relationship
