I have a body that is initially at rest. After 6 seconds the velocity is 14 m/s. Find the acceleration of the body during this time. Give your answer to one decimal place and the unit is metres per second per second ( ms 2 \text{ms}^{-2} ).

The answer is 2.3.

V=u+at Since we want to find the acceleration we rearrange to get it in the form: a=v-u/t then substitute in the known values therefore a=14-0/6 and to 1 decimal place the solution is 2.3 metres per second per second
