She has 3 + 2 = 5 sweets.

Hence the proportion that is blue is 2/5.

she has 3 red sweets and 2 blue sweets so, she has total 5 sweets. therefore , the proportion of blue sweets is 2/5 (no of blue sweets by total no of sweets.
