x = 2 x x = 2x Subtract 2 x 2x from both sides: − x = 0 -x = 0 Multiply both sides by − 1 -1 : x = 0 x = 0

Apply condition: 2 x 0 = 0 = X (i.e. My Number)

X as my unknown number. Increase it by 2 but the result remains the same. The Only number I can think of that I can multiply it by any number but still the same is 0. Therefore, 0*2=0
