The following temperature vs time graph describes the behavior of water in a given condition.
- What is the temperature in X and in Y?
- E.g. If the temperature in X is 1 and the temperature in Y is 2, write 12.
- Write the temperature in X followed by the temperature in Y.
- The temperature is measured in Celsius degrees.

When the line is horizontal (i.e. it has a gradient of zero), there is a phase change. Is a well known fact that water boils at 100 ºC ((X)) and freezes at 0ºC. ((Y))
