As the price is increased by 10% , the new price of the book would be = 700 ( 100 + 10 ) / 100 700*(100+10)/100 = Rs.770. Now , a discount of 10% is given on the increased price .So, The price at which it is sold = ( 100 10 ) / 100 770 (100-10)/100*770 = Rs.693
