Use the formula for the n t h n^{th} term of an arithmetic progression.

a n = a 1 + ( n 1 ) d a_n=a_1+(n-1)d

152 = 2 + ( n 1 ) ( 3 ) 152=2+(n-1)(3) \implies 152 = 3 n 1 152=3n-1 \implies n = 51 \color{#D61F06}\boxed{n=51}

the sequence is going as=2, 5, 8, 11................

the difference is 3.

so, looking at the options this is clear that 51 will be the answer.

if it cross 100th sequence this will definitely pass 300+....

3×1 - 1 =2 the entire sequence is of same form so 152 comesat 3×51 -1 I.e, at 51st position

It is observed that the question is in the form of: (Table of 3)-1 So, just divide (152+1)/3 and the answer is: 153/3=51
