Pretty cool. If we sanded down each of the 30 peaks and ended up with a 30 sided polyhedron, it would be a Rhombic Triancontahedron, which has 32 vertices. These vertices can be partitioned into the 12 vertices of a dedecahedron and the 20 vertices of an isocahedron. See below.

In icosahedron looks like this:

And if you look closely at the image in the question, you can see that it consists of a white one, a yellow one, a green one, a red one and a blue one all of the same size sharing the same center.
