Assume that you have 2 jugs, with no markings on them. One of them can hold up to litres of water, and the other can hold up to litres of water. Also, you have an infinite supply of water.
One day, I ask you for a certain amount of water, in litres. You may use the 2 jugs for the following actions:
Fill it up to the brim
Pour in and out water between the 2 jugs
Dump the water in it
Is it always possible for you to fulfil my request? You can repeatedly do any of these 3 actions in any way you want.

Note: For those people who are using the Imperial System of Measurements, you may address the problem by changing litres into gallons.
