x = 1 − x x=1-x

2 x = 1 2x=1

x = 1 2 = 0.5 x=\frac{1}{2} = \boxed{0.5}

I still don't understand how you got that equation. What is exactly "this question"? Please explain.

If the answer to the question 1 - x = x ( as said in the question)

x + x = 1 or x multiplied by 2 is 1

if that is true, 1 divided by 2 should be x

1 divided by 2 is 0.5

so the answer is 0.5
